Massachusetts Tax Free Weekend
I took advantage of the tax free weekend to go out and purchase a “big girl” grill. For the past 12 years, I have chosen not to go with the Weber due to its expensive price tag. Because of this frugal, somewhat stupid decision, I have gone through at least 5 grills and decided that I would finally make the investment in hopes that it will pay off in the long run. It’s so perty and it cooks so nicely…mmmmmmmm…

Hubba! Hubba!
If you can’t afford to take us out to lunch, then you can prepare it on the “Sassy” girl.
Let’s see pictures of the Adirondacks!
Weather is great here as I’m sure it is in Plymouth.
We’ve been busy with all our menial activities of daily living. Love this retirement stuff–it’s the best. Never, ever, ever, ever again have to deal with the multitude of idiots out there in the business world. The country has become so incredibly dumbed-down. Wow! It’s great to walk away from the fools and let them know it, and I take great pleasure in doing that looking for the challenge–gets me through the day (and most nights).
Ms. Evelyn and I will be going to the Jared Coffee House, Nantucket, for a 2-day stay Sep.16 and 17, compliments of the Chatham Conservation Foundation. Our friend, Beverly Donahue, is flying up from Florida to take care of Mimi for us. I wouldn’t go unless she was in the best of hands–and that would be Beverly’s.
All’s well here. Do hope to hear from you, but know you’re busy.
Be well, Dad XXX

We have some clams. Would you like some clams?
They’re crustaceans–not really fish, although they do “do” the water-thing. I’ve been told, by many, that I make the BEST clam chowder that they have ever had (and, it is true). Sure you won’t have some-huh?!?! huh?!?! huh?!?!
