This week, I had two seperate customers request a glittery pink skull belt buckle similar to the keychain offered on Karalee Designs. I searched my studio and found exactly two skulls to fit the buckles perfectly. I have to figure out where I purchased them so I can order more!
Hello, my name is Karalee and I am a procrastinator. Don’t know why. It feels great to accomplish something but I love to procrastinate and watch the list get longer and longer until I don’t want to look at it anymore. Today, I finished a project no thanks to twitter, tilda, facebook as much as i hate it, the constant checking of email and of course working. Here’s a few of the product shots I was hired to do. Now, I’m off to procrastinate writing the invoice.
Come on, you would procrastinate setting up this too…
I’ve been spending way too much time on youtube lately and came across the music video for Peter, Bjorn & John’s single “Young Folks” featuring Victoria Bergsman of The Concretes. So good.
Just took a trip to Office Max for a camera card reader/writer to make life a little bit easier. I hate searching for the right camera cord (I have two) and hooking it up to the computer and then watching my camera battery die. Very annoying. Anyway, I purchased this camera card reader/writer today which fits both my memory cards and I love it. No thanks to the two customer service guys who told me it doesn’t exist in “all their Office Max experience.” Idiots. You should be fired.
Do you ever wait so long to do something that as soon as you do it, you have no idea why you delayed? I just finished putting up my kitchen/dining room blinds. Pre-blinds, you could see right into my house. Full on display for anyone walking down the street. Since I have a Tilda-Monster, I was never concerned that someone would be standing outside my window at night. She would go fricken crazy. But still, what took me so long to re-take my evening privacy? And, it only took one casualty, my hand is blue from drilling into it with a cheap drill bit. Lesson learned and well worth it.
This past weekend I was a vendor at the Greater Boston Burlesque Expo. The costumes and accessories were visually stimulating to say the least. The shoes, the feathers, the corsets, the makeup…did I mention the shoes…were all just so fantastic. I fortunately, shared a booth space with Boudoir Betty who has an amazing collection of pasties. She fully educated me on how to tack those babies on and gave a twirling lesson. I may just have to purchase a pair…for novelty purposes of course. It was so disappointing that I wasn’t able to watch the performances that took place all weekend. My little Tilda-Monster was waiting patiently me for me to arrive home each night. Next year, I’m going for the shows!!
I just finished 70 cards, a pile of prints and some business cards for the grey blanket. Tomorrow, I need to mat, frame and price all the pieces as well as pack all my jewels for this weekends show. I’m tired.
