I received a snow globe for christmas from a friend of mine and I am now completely obsessed with the idea of turning the concept into jewelry of some sort. I ordered some mini domes and a tube cutter so I can experiment. I can’t wait to play! Why does the mail take so long to get here?

I love Christmas Eve…I normally have one or two errands left to do, wrapping, drinking, fires, movies, last minute Christmas crafts, more wrapping, more drinking, yummy treats around the house, lights, decorations and Tilda trying to help. It’s one of my favorite parts of the season. Happy Christmas Eve.

For the past couple of weeks, ups, usps and fedex have been at my door each and every day to drop off some sort of supply package, tilda blog item (the little bitch is gaining a reputation and supporting her puppy treat habbit) or christmas gift. Today was special though because I received a package that I have been waiting a while for…although not one I get to keep. I sold a painting to a friend of mine and have been crossing my fingers for it’s arrival. Upon opening, it is even more fantastic in person and I am so excited to deliver and hang it this weekend for the new owner. Prints of the “Christmas in California” painting are available for sale but the original is taken!
I found a picture of me from the Bazaar Bizarre last weekend in the Bazaar Bizarre Flickr photo group. It was so cold in there! Unfortunately, the pic is completely out of focus but that’s what you get for not having your own small camera to bring to events like these.

Karalee recently launched The Grey Blanket with a fully integrated shopping cart system. The Grey Blanket is a portfolio website for artist Ben Baldwin to showcase his fine art paintings, illustrations, wall murals and to sell his prints online.
Preparation for the show was a little bit better with a new display system and a new dolly from walmart, making the transport system soooo much better. Thanks mom and mark! I need to get a little camera so that I can take pictures in the future instead of the big monster camera that I have that just takes up a little bit too much space for a venue like this. Two more shows to find me at for the holiday season – December 14 + 21, 12-6 at the Prudential Center Artisan Market.
