I just finished up 50 mini mini birthday dinner menu’s for a client and they came out so cute! I used the Kolo Mini Mini Album’s which they have unfortunately discontinued. Such a shame. I had to source them from 3 different places.

A good friend of mine requested a british flag belt buckle a while back. I love doing custom orders but sometimes the custom order comes with learning a new technique. And, I can’t just learn the technique, I have to perfect it especially if it’s going to have my name attached. So, after multiple attempts, I have the photo buckle ready to go off to it’s owner. No Simon, hell has not frozen over…smartass.
Flag buckles available here. If you would like a custom photo belt buckle, send an email to info@karaleedesigns.com with your ideas!

Now that I have my fancy Jennifer Lewis pieces on the wall in the guest room, I wanted to complete the corner. So, I stopped at Home Good’s to see if I could find a little guest chair. For $15, I snagged a vanity chair but it was unfortunately green suede. A quick stop to Joann’s for a staple gun and some black fabric and vwahla…

The completed corner…

A couple weeks back I was hired to hang pictures in a fancy Boston apartment. I had no idea of the size and shapes of the pieces so I grabbed my little toolbag, stopped at Home Depot and bought a whole bunch of hanging hardware. Turns out there were 17 pieces in a full size range. So, I now consider myself a “professional picture hanger.” Hee hee. Anyway, I was so motivated that I came home and finally hung 3 awesome little pieces of work by one of my favorite Boston artists, Jennifer Lewis. I think they look fabulous!!

I have finally completed the pop-up card project! I have never spent so much time on a card before. I am very pleased with the results and construction of the piece other than the color choice. Not exactly my favorite combo but the client is very pleased.

I just finished designing and printing a special moving announcement. Not only is it announcing one move but two!! We decided that it would be fun to add business cards with the two new addresses on them so that they could be easily popped out and placed in a rolodex. The fan logo at the top is special to the client representing one of the new addresses.
Seems like red, cream and brown are the new colors for the Fall stationery season!
