Mother’s Day is Sunday and I purchased mom a pair of the Pajama Jeans. Hell yes, I laughed my ass off when I initially saw the commercial. But then again, mom’s always complaining about how uncomfortable her jeans are and how I need to go shopping with her to help purchase a new pair. Since I loathe the mall and only travel there around Christmas time to pick up last minute gifts, I have avoided the excursion. So, when pajama jeans ended up in my email box with the only decision of choosing either S, M, L, or XL, I figured sure, why not.
Happily, the pajama jeans arrived today just in time for the big day and of course I had to try these bitches on. And, hellsss yes, they are some comfiness. Could I actually be tempted to purchase a pair? Yes, but I think I’ll wait until I hit 60ish, and then they will become my wardrobe staple. There will be no matchy matchy purple and pink sweatsuits for me. By then, I bet they will have multi-styles. Wa-hooo… something to look forward too. But, seriously, could they have named them something a little less tacky like super comfy soft jeans or yoga jeans so I wouldn’t feel like such an @ss just saying the name? ‘Cause then, maybe I would buy a pair for myself now.
Everyone got a terrarium. Seven incredibly different personalities and age groups and I think they all had fun choosing which one to take home. Good stuff. I need to make more!
Receiving presents is kinda cool too…
Look how nicely the new flatscreen fits in the studio.
I wanted to share some photos of the house all holidized up before the decor comes down in a week or so. It has never seen this much spirit! I would like to add that I have never purchased a decoration. My family, both mom and dad, has strange uncontrollable urges to continue to purchase me massive amounts of Christmas decor. Not that I’m complaining…
I made Tilda-Monster some special Valentine’s Day cookies, one day late. They have to dry overnight in the oven before she eats them but they smell tasty!

I love Christmas Eve…I normally have one or two errands left to do, wrapping, drinking, fires, movies, last minute Christmas crafts, more wrapping, more drinking, yummy treats around the house, lights, decorations and Tilda trying to help. It’s one of my favorite parts of the season. Happy Christmas Eve.

For the past couple of weeks, ups, usps and fedex have been at my door each and every day to drop off some sort of supply package, tilda blog item (the little bitch is gaining a reputation and supporting her puppy treat habbit) or christmas gift. Today was special though because I received a package that I have been waiting a while for…although not one I get to keep. I sold a painting to a friend of mine and have been crossing my fingers for it’s arrival. Upon opening, it is even more fantastic in person and I am so excited to deliver and hang it this weekend for the new owner. Prints of the “Christmas in California” painting are available for sale but the original is taken!
