Another year has passed and the family helped me recognize it with food. Traditional cake just doesn’t do it for me so they got creative. Mom showed up with 7 different slices of chocolaty delicious cheesecakes, chocolate creams, key lime and strawberries. Choices!
This was the claiming process. Tilda was making her choice too.
Dad and Ev made me a “cake” of my favorite cookies…Peanut Blossoms. 48 cookies on a huge pie platter with a bow. I meant to take a photo but it didn’t stay in completed form long enough. These are my weakness. Here’s the recipe.
The gals from work went with homemade cupcakes featuring a Twilight theme. I really wish I had a picture! They were too cute. I also received a gathering of Twi-smut mags, just so I could catch up on my Twi reading before New Moon came out. Hehe. They think they are funny.

My brother joined Facebook and I felt it my obligation as his older sibling to officially welcome him to Stalkbook with a few helpful suggestions:
Put on a filter. There is no reason to unleash to the world your woes, your cat dying, your girl problems, etc. etc. unless you are looking for sympathy and that’s just too sad, give me a call and you can cry on my phone. Tilda will listen.
Relationship status is just asking for trouble.
Do not drink and facebook. That probably goes for any other mind – alterer…you know nyquil, excessive coffee drinking, sniffing glue, whatever it is you may do…
Don’t Poke.
Don’t send those obnoxious flower apps. I don’t want a flower and I don’t want to send you one back either.
As my brother, you are expected to enjoy all the Tilda features that come shooting through your news feed. It is a must. I would like you to comment every once in a while as well and tell me how cute she is. It’s your obligation to me.
I make really good food. Those recipes will also come shooting through your news feed. You are expected to make one of them for mom and mark some night because she feeds you and puts up with you on a regular basis.
I will continue to update you with how I think you should act.
I’m waiting for the repercussions of this message to his Stalkbook Wall. hehe. Sometimes, I think I’m funny.

This past weekend was absolutely beautiful and since I still have my Dad’s Whaler, I was able to take advantage of it cruising down the North River in Marshfield…
I’m hoping to keep it long enough to take the trip again as the leaves turn!
Last week I had the opportunity to take a video documentary class through the Massachusetts College of Art and Design Continuing Education program. I took the course to learn how to work a camera, set up decent lighting and gain some editing experience. I got those 3 things and a whole hell of a lot more. It was an intensive and uncomfortable week of being in front of and behind the camera.
Image of my group in crisis:
Our project got the kabash from public safety and we had only 45 minutes left to capture our video. We ended up creating a documentary on “making a documentary” and it turned out better than we anticipated.
Course Description:
A one-week, full-time, immersion for students who want to learn the fundamentals of video documentary in an intimate and focused setting. Participants will develop an understanding of basic shooting techniques, picture composition, sound, lighting, interviewing, and editing with Final Cut. The class will guide students through a series of assignments using traditional, cinéma vérité, and subjective approaches. Through exercises, screening, discussion, and critique, students will be exposed to a range of storytelling, aesthetic, and artistic issues. From artists who want to document their work, to aspiring documentary filmmakers who want to share stories of social reality, this class will provide a strong foundation to build upon. Prior video production experience is helpful, but not required, whether you are a beginner or have some experience, this boot camp will be a good learning experience.

I’m not a car person. It’s all about getting from point A to point B in comfort. Style has never really been a huge concern. Sure, I don’t want to drive a POS but I really don’t need to turn heads either. In fact, I would prefer not to. Anyway, while doing my Saturday afternoon shopping errands, I came across the car that has completely changed my views. I actually had to stop and take in the sheer awesomeness of the 2009 Dodge Challenger. I love it and I want it in black with black racing stripes. I think I’ve been watching to much American Chopper on NetFlix.
